XTO IMAGE AWARDS:
Here is the winners page. The client requested I design an image heavy page for the xto website. In developing this page I went beyond what the client wanted and developed the navigation, image gallery, and archival of future winners. When the viewer opens the winner page the past years winners will open as shown to the left. Their image will act as a direct link to their individual page. The viewer will be able to pick what year, than either photography or illustration, than the category, and lastly their desired winner. Photos on the left side of the page represent each step. At the top of the text area is the navigation. When the viewer clicks on photography, the categories will appear below, and so on. It is a elegant, easy way to click through the many winners of this competition. Also this allows for all of the winners to have their own page, which they will be able to post on their site as a link to xto. This will increase xto’s SEO. This design also keeps with the clean contemporary design. (View the site at www.x.to)
