STILL PRAIRIE BREWERY:
Still Prairie Brewery is a project I have designed to show the process I will go through while designing a logo for either your brewery, brew pub, or newest brew. I started with a creative brief, similar to one I would receive from a brewery. Since this brewery did not have an identity yet, it was necessary to create a name, brand, and stationery so this brewery could get up off its feet.
For the design of each of the beers’ packaging I wanted to create an aspect of wow but not busy the design by adding too much to the box. Prairies are elegant and complex lands, but when you look over one the land looks simple. That is why I added the die cuts to the handle and on the front of the box. It is a simple addition but because of these cut outs the simplicity of the box is brought to a new level without harming the overall design. This also represents the complexity of a prairie.
