background information on james wenzel

I started my design journey at Glenbrook North High School, taking all the Graphic Design classes offered, creating posters and fliers for my friends bands and wishful clients; I was constantly creating. After high school I went to pursue my design dreams at Purdue University, majoring in Visual Communication Design. Although the school helped mold my personality and develop my ethic, Purdue was not challenging me enough. During my sophomore year I started the process of transferring schools. I decided to move my creative talents back to Chicago and I started attending Columbia College. While learning from some very talented design professionals, I honed my design skills. I graduated in December 2007 with a BA in Graphic Design.

Since graduating from Columbia College I have been working as a freelance graphic designer. I started James Wenzel Graphic Design. My clients include musicians, breweries, sporting goods wholesale distributors, and restaurants to name a few. My design journey continues, as you can see in the samples of my work throughout this website. I hope it continues with you.
